To investigate the effect of Xihuang Pills combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on the immune function and quality of life of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) patients.Methods:A total of 68 NSCLC patients admitted in Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from April 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table，with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Xihuang Pills，and the observation group received acupuncture and moxibustion treatment on the basis of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients，and the cellular immunity，humoral immunity，and the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung(FACT-L) scores of the two groups of patients were also compared before and after treatment.Results:1) The total effective rate of treatment in the control group after treatment was 76.47%，which was lower than that(94.12%) in the observation group(P<0.05).2) The levels of CD3+，CD4+，CD8+ and natural killer cell(NK) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).3) Compared with the condition in the control group，the humoral immunity in the observation group increased after treatment(P<0.05).4) In terms of the activity，daily life，emotional well-being，and other factors after treatment，the observation group had higher scores than the control group，and the FACT-L score increased(P<0.05).5) The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 11.76%，which was lower than that(35.29%) in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xihuang Pills combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of NSCLC could regulate immunity and improve the quality of life of patients.Thus it was worthy of clinical promotion.
