To evaluate the anti-inflammatory,analgesic,and hemostatic effects of Moluodan(Condensed Pills) and its inhibitory activity on gastric mucosal injury and further launch the experimental research on the pharmacodynamics of Moluodan(Condensed Pills).Methods:The protective effect of Moluodan(Condensed Pills) against gastric mucosal injury was evaluated by measuring the ulcer index of gastric mucosal injury in rats induced by indomethacin and hydrochloric acid-ethanol.The anti-inflammatory effect of Moluodan(Condensed Pills) was evaluated through the peritoneal capillary permeability test in mice.The analgesic effect of Moluodan(Condensed Pills) was evaluated by the acetic acid-induced writhing test in mice.The hemostatic effect of Moluodan(Condensed Pills) was evaluated by measuring the bleeding time and coagulation time of mice.Results:In the gastric mucosal injury model in rats induced by indomethacin,the ulcer indexes of high-,medium-,and low-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) groups and the positive drug group [colloidal bismuth subcitrate(CBS) granules] were significantly lower than that of the model control group(P<0.01).In the gastric mucosal injury model in rats induced by hydrochloric acid-ethanol,the ulcer indexes of high-and medium-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) groups and the positive drug group were significantly lower than that of the model control group(P<0.05).The bleeding time of high-and medium-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) groups and the positive drug group(Yunnan Baiyao Capsules) was significantly shorter than that of the blank control group(P<0.05).The coagulation time of the high-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) group and the positive drug group was significantly shorter than that of the blank control group(P<0.05).In the writhing test in mice induced by acetic acid,the writhing times in the high-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) group and the positive drug group(ibuprofen) was significantly less than that in the model control group(P<0.05).In the peritoneal capillary permeability test in mice,the absorbance of peritoneal fluid in the high-and medium-dose Moluodan(Condensed Pills) groups and the positive drug group(ibuprofen granules) was significantly lower than that in the model control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Moluodan(Condensed Pills) has a therapeutic effect on gastric mucosal injury and ulcers caused by alcohol stimulation,indomethacin,and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.It also has a therapeutic effect on erosion,bleeding,pain,and inflammation common in chronic non-atrophic gastritis,and can effectively protect the gastric mucosa.
