Acupuncture sensation is the unavoidable part of acupuncture or acupuncture research，which has carried on for many years around the world，and the acupuncture sensation scale is the main tool for its assessment.However，limited by the incomplete understanding of basic rudiment and theories of traditional Chinese medicine，the scales all have some shortages，which hinder the further researches.This paper integrates the former research to explore a more suitable scale design for acupuncture research，and aims it to be used in clinical research or contribute to the popularization of acupuncture.
