“Experienced ten acupoints” is an acupuncture and moxibustion prescription designed by Wang Leting,a late prestigious TCM doctor in the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on the therapeutic principles of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and his clinical experience in treating spleen and stomach diseases.This prescription has the effects of regulating qi,strengthening the spleen,ascending lucidity,and descending turbidity,and is the embodiment of Mr.Wang's academic thought of “stomach first for the treatment of the root”.Clinically,this prescription is mainly indicated for chronic gastritis,functional dyspepsia,reflux esophagitis,tumor,chemotherapy-related digestive tract symptoms,ulcerative colitis,and other digestive diseases.The present study summarized its clinical application progress in digestive system diseases in order to provide a basis for clinical treatment.
