| 张锡纯，中西医汇通学派著名医家，著有《医学衷中参西录》。他师古而不泥古，扩充变化中医理论，其大气理论是最具创新性的理论之一。大气是一种以元气为根本，以谷气和清气为养料，积聚于胸中的精微物质，其主要功能有司呼吸、行血气、充营卫、统三焦、斡旋脑筋等，病理变化不外乎大气上逆、大气虚陷、大气郁滞三端。“头疼之证，西人所谓脑气筋病也”，发病与否关乎胸中大气。大气斡旋失职，脑筋失司是头痛发作的病理基础，大气上逆、大气虚陷、大气郁滞是其重要的发病机制，因其上逆而镇潜之，因其虚陷而升补之，因其郁滞而宣解之，如此治以调补大气，畅调气血为法，以期脑筋和调。 |

| ZHANG Xichun was a renowned medical practitioner of the confluence of Chinese and western medicine group and was the author of Records of Chinese Medicine with Reference to Western Medicine.He expanded and changed the theories of Chinese medicine，and his theory of Daqi is one of the most innovative theories.Daqi is a subtle substance that accumulates in the chest with vital energy as the base and grain and clear qi as nutrients.Its main functions are to regulate respiration，move blood and qi，enrich nutrient defense，unify the triple energizer，and mediate the brain.The pathological changes are no more than the upward rebellion of Daqi，the deficiency of Daqi，and the stagnation of Daqi.“Headache is believed to be a disease of cranial nerves in western medicine”，and its pathogenesis is related to Daqi in the chest.It is believed that the pathological basis of headache is the loss of function of Daqi and the disorder of the brain.The upward rebellion of Daqi，the deficiency of Daqi，and the stagnation of Daqi are important pathogenesis.The treatments are to calm and subdue the upward rebellion，to raise and tonify the deficiency，and promote and relieve the stagnation，thereby tonifying Daqi and regulating the qi and blood to harmonize the brain. |
