To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Hanchuan Zupa Granules in the treatment of respiratory diseases.Methods:Chinese and English databases，such as Chinese Citation Database(CCD)，China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)，China Biology Medicine disc(CBMdisc)，China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)，and PubMed.were searched by computer from database inception to December 2020.Meta-analysis was conducted on the homogenous studies using RevMan5.4.1 software.Results:Twenty-two randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were included，involving 1 869 children.Meta-analysis results showed that：1) in terms of clinical efficacy and improvement of clinical signs，the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.000 01); 2) pulmonary function indicators of the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.000 01); 3) in terms of serum immune factors and blood gas indicators，the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.000 01).Conclusion:The findings of this study indicate that Hanchuan Zupa Granules are effective and safe in the treatment of respiratory diseases and also have the basis of clinical application.Since most of the research articles included in this study are Chinese articles and there is inherent sufficiency in articles，it is suggested to increase the sample size on the basis of the results of this study and adopt multi-center and high-quality trials for further verification in clinical research.
