To explore the efficacy and safety of three kinds of proprietary Chinese medicines for activating blood and resolving stasis in the treatment of stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy.Methods:Randomized controlled trials on the treatment of stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy by Naoduqing，Shenshuaining，and Keluoxin were retrieved from CNKI，Wanfang Data，China Biology Medicine(CBM)，China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)，Chinese Citation Database(CCD)，PubMed，Medline，Cochrane Library，and EMbase(from inception to October 2020).Cochrane was used to assess the risk of bias in the included articles，and Revman5.3 and stata14.0 were employed for analysis.Results:A total of 17 articles were included，involving 1 225 cases.The results of Meta analysis showed that the three kinds of proprietary Chinese medicines were superior to western medicine alone in terms of excretion rate of urinary albumin(MD=-21.44，95%CI -24.70 to -18.18，Z=12.88，P<0.000 01)，creatinine(MD=-7.56，95%CI -9.62 to -5.50，Z=7.20，P<0.000 01），and urea nitrogen(MD=-0.83，95%CI -1.35 to -0.30，Z=3.06，P=0.002）.There was no significant difference in safety between the proprietary Chinese medicines and western medicine(MD=1.07,95%CI 0.68 to 1.67，Z=0.28，P=0.78).Conclusion:Naoduqing，Shenshuaining，and Keluoxin can improve the renal function of patients with stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy，and reduce the excretion rate of urinary albumin.They are safe and effective adjuvant drugs.
