| 随着我国老年化社会的进程，老年期痴呆的发病率逐渐增加，其确切病因尚未明确，受遗传因素、年龄、性别、教育程度、民族、生活方式、基础疾病等多种危险因素共同影响。目前，我国老年期痴呆的困境包括早期诊断困难、治疗效果不佳及经济负担巨大。中药在防治老年期痴呆方面具有广阔的前景。现从单味中药提取物、中成药、中药复方等3个方面分别阐述中药防治老年期痴呆的研究进展，以期为中医药治疗老年期痴呆的研究提供借鉴。 |

| The incidence of senile dementia is gradually increasing in the aging society in China.The exact cause of senile dementia has not been clearly defined，but it is affected by multiple risk factors such as genetic factors，age，gender，education level，ethnicity，lifestyle，and underlying diseases.At present，the challenges of senile dementia in China include difficulty in early diagnosis，poor treatment effects，and a huge economic burden.Traditional Chinese medicine has broad prospects in the prevention and treatment of senile dementia.This study described the research progress of prevention and treatment of senile dementia by traditional Chinese medicine from three aspects：single Chinese medicine extracts，Chinese patent medicine，and Chinese medicine formulas，so as to provide a reference for the research on treating senile dementia with traditional Chinese medicine in the future. |
