With the continuous popularization of the application of CT imaging technology and the improvement of people's health awareness，the detection rate of pulmonary nodules has increased significantly.Currently，the recommendations of various guidelines for pulmonary nodules mainly include CT follow-up and surgical resection.How to use the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) to prevent and treat pulmonary nodules is a current hot issue.Professor Lin Hongsheng has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors with integrated TCM and western medicine for decades.Prof.Lin has introduced the theory of “consolidating body resistance and clearing the source” into clinical treatment and achieved good clinical and scientific research results.From the etiology and pathogenesis of pulmonary nodules，as well as the differentiation of syndromes and medication，this article introduced the ideas and methods of TCM treatment for patients with pulmonary nodules under the guidance of the theory of “consolidating body resistance and clearing the source”，providing a reference for TCM in the prevention and treatment of pulmonary nodules.
