To analyze the medication laws of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) compounds in the treatment of oligoasthenospermia in modern literature by using data mining technology.Methods:The China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)，China Science Periodical Database(CSPD)，Chinese Citation Database(CCD)，and China Biology Medicine disc(CBMdisc) were searched for clinical studies of oligoasthenospermia treated with TCM compounds.Statistical analysis was conducted using Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(TCMISS，V3.0).Results:There were 286 prescriptions included，involving 248 drugs.The results of statistical analysis showed that the most common syndrome of oligoasthenospermia was kidney essence deficiency syndrome.The drugs used for the treatment of oligoasthenospermia were mainly warm and mild in nature and sweet and bitter in flavor，acting on the kidney，liver，and spleen meridians.Twenty drugs were used more than 49 times.There were six combinations with the highest frequency and the greatest relevance in a prescription at the same time，where three new prescriptions were derived.Conclusion:The commonly used single drugs for the treatment of oligoasthenospermia are Lycii Fructus，Cuscutae Semen，Epimedii Folium，Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata，Astragali Radix，Angelicae Sinensis Radix，Rubi Fructus，Dioscoreae Rhizoma，Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus，Plantaginis Semen，etc.These drugs are commonly used in pairs as “pair drugs” or in combinations as ‘triangle drugs’ in clinical practice and the commonly used prescription is Wuzi Yanzong Pills.There are three prescriptions based on core drug combinations，all of which can help tonify the kidney and nourish kidney essence.Of them，prescription 1 can help invigorate qi and nourish blood.Prescription 2 can help replenish yin and blood.Prescription 3 can help tonify qi and replenish blood.These prescriptions can be used for clinical reference.
