Dysphagia after stroke is characterized by the inability to safely deliver food or fluid from the mouth to the stomach，which seriously affects the patient's quality of life.Scalp acupuncture is a new method for the treatment of dysphagia after stroke.It has distinct therapeutic characteristics and can be used in combination with other treatments with needles in the head to promote the therapeutic efficacy of each other.This paper reviewed scalp acupuncture in the treatment of dysphagia after stroke in order to provide references for the clinical treatment of dysphagia after stroke.
