The rapid medical informatization has brought the blowout growth of medical and health big data.While creating rich clinical data resources，it has the problems of improper management and insufficient application because the current data collection pattern cannot meet the needs of real-world data collection.By reviewing the current status of clinical research data collection，we found the problems such as limited collection scenarios，single collection players，lack of richness and objectivity，poor coherence and sharing of medical and health data between different scenarios，and short time range of individual health data collection.To solve those problems，we developed a new data collection pattern of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) by increasing data scenarios and collection players，enriching data collection tools，and establishing the whole life cycle collection of individual health information.We hope that this new data collection pattern can provide references for the present TCM clinical research.
