Parkinson's disease(PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by primary clinical symptoms such as resting tremors, bradykinesia, increased muscle rigidity, abnormal posture and gait,as well as non-motor symptoms including constipation and nocturia.Recent studies have shown that acupuncture and moxibustion have a good regulatory effect on the non-motor symptoms of PD,especially the series of symptoms caused by autonomic dysfunction, such as cardiovascular dysfunction, urinary system dysfunction, and gastrointestinal dysfunction. However, there is a lack of comprehensive reviews on this type of research. Therefore, this paper summarized the pathological characteristics, clinical manifestations, pathogenesis of autonomic dysfunction in PD,and the clinical research progress on acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of autonomic dysfunction in PD.It also analyzed the advantages of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating related symptoms of autonomic dysfunction in PD,aiming to provide reference materials for further research.
