To observe the effects of Zhu's Tiaojing Recipe on premature ovarian insufficiency(POI) due to kidney deficiency and blood stasis,so as to explore the potential mechanism of Zhu's Tiaojing Recipe in treating POI.Methods:A total of 120 POI patients from January 2019 to August 2020,Yueyang Hospital with the syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis were selected and randomized into an observation group(n=58) and a control group(n=59) according to the random number table. The observation group were treated with Zhu's Tiaojing Recipe and the control group with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets. Both groups were treated for 6 menstrual cycles. The TCM symptom scores, serum levels of hormones, ultrasonic image indexes, and levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interferon gamma(IFN-γ) in the peripheral blood were determined before and after treatment. Results:The observation group showed reduced scores of TCM symptoms after treatment(P<0.01) and improved therapeutic effect on the TCM syndrome compared with the control group(P<0.05).The menstrual symptoms in both groups were alleviated(P<0.01),and the observation group outperformed the control group in improving menstrual cycle(P<0.01).The treatment in both groups lowered the serum levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone(LH)(P<0.01) and elevated the serum levels of estradiol(E2) and anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)(P<0.05,P<0.01).Moreover,the observation group was superior to the control group in regulating the LH level(P<0.01).The levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in both groups declined(P<0.01),and the decline in IFN-γ was more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).After treatment, the ovarian arteries in both groups showed increased peak systolic velocity(PSV)(P<0.01) and the observation group showed decreased resistance index(RI) compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Zhu's Tiaojing Recipe can improve the ovarian reserve function and alleviate the immune damage induced by inflammation to exert the therapeutic effect on POI.
