Clinical Study of Transcutaneous Acupoint Electrical Stimulation Combined with Intradermal Needling in the Prevention and Treatment of Acute Moderate to Severe Radioactive Pneumonia
This study aims to observe the effect of transcutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation(TEAS) combined with intradermal needling(IN) on the prevention of acute moderate to severe radioactive pneumonia(AMTSRP).Methods:A total of 84 patients with primary lung cancer who received radiotherapy were randomly divided into an acupoint treatment group and a control group, with 42 cases in each group. The acupoint treatment group was treated with TEAS combined with IN once a day for 30 times in total. The control group received no intervention. The incidence and grade of AMTSRP,TCM clinical symptom score,QLQ-C30 score,QLQ-LC43 score,HADS score,KPS score,ZPS score, and BFI score were observed one month after radiotherapy. Results:The incidence of AMTSRP in the acupoint treatment group and control group was 7.5% and 32.1%,with statistical differences(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance except QLQ-LC43(P>0.05),and other scores were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:TEAS combined with IN can reduce the incidence and grade of AMTSRP in lung cancer patients, relieve clinical symptoms, enhance the quality of life, improve physical state and fatigue, and relieve psychological anxiety and depression.
