This study aims to explore Professor Ni Qing's medication experience and prescription rules for the treatment of thyroid nodules.Methods:Professor Ni Qing's medical records and prescriptions for the treatment of thyroid nodules from September 1，2019 to December 31，2020 were collected and sorted out.By using Microsoft Excel，IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0，and IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software，frequency statistics，association rules，and cluster analysis were performed on the nature，flavor，channel tropism，application frequency，and combination of drugs in prescriptions.Results:A total of 200 prescriptions for the treatment of thyroid nodules by Professor Ni Qing，including 193 traditional Chinese medicines，were collected.The top 10 most frequently used medicines were Poria Cocos，Atractylodes Lancea，Licorice，Jujubae Fructus，Magnolia Officinalis，Pinellia ternata，Forsythiae Fructus，Taraxacum，Perillae Folium，and Cremastrae Pseudobulbus.The medicinal properties are warm，cold，and calm，and the medicinal taste is bitter，sweet，and pungent.The main meridians are the liver meridians，lung meridians，stomach meridians，and spleen meridians.The commonly used drug pairs obtained through association rule analysis included Atractylodes Lancea and Magnolia Officinalis，Poria Cocos and Atractylodes Lancea，Licorice and Jujubae Fructus，Magnolia Officinalis and Pinellia ternata，Poria Cocos and Magnolia Officinalis，Jujubae Fructus and Zingiber Officinale Roscoe，Cremastrae Pseudobulbus and Ranunculi Ternati Radix，Forsythiae Fructus and Fritillariae Thunbrgii Bulbus，etc.Through the high-frequency drug cluster analysis，four cluster groups were obtained，among which the class 3 groups(Pinellia ternata，Magnolia Officinalis，Perillae Folium，and Jujubae Fructus) were used the most frequently.Conclusion:Professor Ni Qing treats thyroid nodules by soothing the liver，regulating qi，dissipating phlegm，promoting blood circulation，removing blood stasis，nourishing yin and clearing heat，and replenishing deficiency.
