To fully explore the clinical application laws of Jiquan(HT1) in ancient medical books and modern medical literature，and provide a reference for clinical practice.Methods:The ancient medical books were mainly searched from the Chinese Medical Dictionary(version 5)，and the modern articles were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and China Science Periodical Database(CSPD) with the time interval from inception to December 24，2021.Both computer retrieval and manual retrieval were employed to screen out the records about Jiquan(HT1).Finally，a database was established in Excel for statistical analysis，including the indications，treatment methods，needle specifications，acupuncture depth，reinforcing and reduction methods，and precautions.Results:A total of 185 terms were extracted from ancient books，from which 31 terms were included in this study.The included terms showed 9 indications treated at Jiquan(HT1) alone and 2 indications treated at Jiquan(HT1) combined with other acupoints.A total of 502 modern medical articles were extracted，from which 309 articles were included in this study.These articles revealed 9 indications treated at Jiquan(HT1) alone and 21 indications at Jiquan(HT1) combined with other acupoints.The indications were mainly diseases in the heart and limb meridians.The common acupoints combined with Jiquan(HT1) for treatment were Jianyu(LI15) and Quchi(LI11).In addition to acupuncture，moxibustion and massage were used for treatment.Lifting-thrusting reinforcement and reduction was the most commonly adopted.The needling depth was usually 0.5 to 2 cun.Conclusion:This study comprehensively reveals the application laws of Jiquan(HT1) in ancient medical books and modern medical literature，providing a reference for the clinical intervention at this acupoint.
