Through data mining of literature, this study preliminarily explores the patterns of used of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs in interfering with Gastric Cancer-related Fatigue(CRF),combined with an analysis of TCM pathogenesis and modern pharmacological research for CRF.Methods:Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and Science Periodical Citation Database(CSPD) were searched to retrieve clinical literatures on Gastric CRF up to April 10th,2022.Using Microsoft Excel 2021 and SPSS Modeler 26.0,and referencing 110 kinds of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs published by the Health Care Commission in 2018,frequency analysis, property and channel tropism, pharmacological classification, association rule analysis, and cluster analysis were performed on the herbs discussed in the collected literature.Based on the statistical results, medication patterns of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs intervening CRF were discussed. Results:There were 43 kinds of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs mentioned in the collected literature(39.09% of the 110 kinds of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs published by the Health Care Commission in 2018),with a frequency of occurrence was 376(49.41% of the occurrence frequency 165 traditional Chinese medicines from the collected literature). There were 14 kinds of edible and medicinal Chinese herbs with a frequency of≥10.Astragali Radix,Poria,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Radix-et-Rhizoma-Glycyrrhizae,Radix-Codonopsis and etc were ranked in order of frequency from high to low.The herbs were mainly mild and warm in property, and sweet in flavor, with tropism at spleen.A total of 21 groups of edible and medicinal Chinese herb combinations for the treatment of gastric CRF were identified, with thehighest support for Astragali Radix and Angelicae Sinensis Radix.Three core clusters were identified by cluster analysis. Conclusion:The intervention in gastric cancer CRF with edible and medicinal Chinese herbs primarily focuses on strengthening the spleen and stomach, supplemented by nourishing lungs and kidneys, nourishing blood and producing fluids, and regulating qi and drying dampness.Common herbs include Astragali Radix,Poria and Angelicae Sinensis Radix, which can be used in the treatment of gastric CRF and in the development of health food.
