Liparis nervosa is a plant of Liparis L.C.Rich(Orchidaceae)，with a long medicinal history.It has the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying，cooling the blood and stopping bleeding，and relieving symptoms and pain.It is used for vomiting blood，hemoptysis，intestinal subwind blood，blood avalanche and other diseases.The chemical composition of L.nervosa mainly includes alkaloids，benzoates，phenanthrene，dihydrophenanthrenes and biphenanthrenes，which have antihyperuric，haemostatic and anticancer effects.This paper reviews and summarizes the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of L.nervosa.Based on the five principles of Chinese medicine quality markers(Q-Marker)，this study predicts the Q-Marker of L.nervosa from various aspects such as traditional Chinese medicine properties of，conventional effects，and modern pharmacological effects of L.nervosa.It is preliminarily determined that alkaloids，phenanthrenes and flavonoids can be used as the main Q-markers of L.nervosa，which provides a basis for establishing and improving the quality control and evaluation methods of L.nervosa.
