Distal radius fractures, common upper limb fractures in clinical practice, mainly occur in the elderly and managed with conservative treatment or surgical treatment.Conservative treatment mainly involves traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) bonesetting techniques for reduction or combined with small splints and polymer gypsum materials for external fixation after reduction. The surgical methods mainly include percutaneous Kirschner wire internal fixation, open reduction and steel plate internal fixation, external fixation, wrist arthroscopy, wrist joint replacement, and intramedullary nail fixation. The above treatment methods showcase varied indications, operational difficulties, and clinical efficacy and can be applied alone or in combination. With the development of digital orthopedics,3D printing technology is widely used in the treatment of distal radius fractures.
