Cancer-related fatigue is a classic example of a condition affecting both physical and mental health, characterized by subjective feelings of fatigue in physiological, emotional, and cognitive domains, which significantly impacts the quality of life. This study examined the pathogenesis of cancer-related fatigue from occurrence to progression based on characteristics of the disease course across three stages,i.e.,deficiency of pectoral qi,obstruction of qi movement, and toxic damage from cancer accumulation.Under the general principle of regulating qi and removing toxin, the study proposed a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment framework that included strengthening the foundation and tonifying deficiencies to regulate balance, resolving depression and dispersing nodules to stabilize qi movement, and attacking pathogenic factors and removing toxin to reduce cancer and tumors. This framework aimed to coordinate both physical and mental aspects during the progression and recovery phases of cancer-related fatigue.
