Diabetic kidney disease(DKD) has a complex pathogenesis, involving metabolic disorders, oxidative stress, inflammation, and other factors.Lipid metabolism,as one of the critical metabolic processes in the body,is closely related to the progression of DKD.In modern medicine, interventions such as lifestyle modification, and the use of glucose-lowering and lipid-lowering drugs are commonly employed to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism in DKD patients, which can improve patient outcomes to some extent.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has also made certain achievements in treating DKD complicated by lipid metabolism disorders, particularly in the development of clinical formulations and the extraction of active ingredients.
